“Paleo Takeout: Restaurant Favorites Without The Junk” Cookbook Review

First off, I’ve got to say Russ Crandall is one of my favorite paleo bloggers. He has a real talent for creating great-tasting recipes with delicious layers of flavor. That’s the hallmark of an amazing cook.

When he came out with his latest cookbook, Paleo Takeout: Restaurant Favorites Without The Junk, I couldn’t wait to try the healthier versions of some of my favorite Asian takeout foods. It’s loaded with classics including Chicken Teriyaki, Kung Pao Pork, Mongolian Beef…and dozens and dozens more. Plus many American dishes are on Russ’ menu as well from burgers to burrito bowls. The chili fries look amazing! [av_sidebar widget_area=’Lockerdome’ av_uid=’av-194d7ws’]

The recipes are all paleo-friendly and and let you enjoy your restaurant fave’s right at home using your own fresh ingredients without all the other junk most fast food joints add like sugar and MSG. Pure genius!

Paleo Takeout is beautifully photographed and will have you drooling from the very first recipe.

This is my favorite paleo cookbook of the year. Great job Russ!

  1. I am always on the lookout for something different and inspiring on Paleo. This looks like something I would like to look into, especially when I get tired of the same-ol-same-ol at home and get ‘drawn’ to the convenience of eating out, even though it is not always good for me. Thanks!
