How about a nice refreshing change from your typical paleo smoothie?
Do you love pomegranates as much as I do? Not only are they rich in antioxidants, they’re so much fun to eat. Sometimes I just sit on the couch and pick out those little red jewels bursting with flavor.
Pomegranate is such a wonderful fruit and goes well with several other fruits and veggies.
So I decided to make a paleo pomegranate smoothie yesterday and came up with this cool, refreshing drink.
I added coconut water ice cubes to keep it on the light side, and a just a splash of coconut milk for creaminess. I also added a little freshly-squeezed orange juice and a really ripe banana to hold it all together. [av_sidebar widget_area=’Lockerdome’ av_uid=’av-37owj7′]
This was such a delicious, refreshing drink after a long day of working around the house and cooking in a hot kitchen!

This looks refreshing and yummy Trina! I may have to make this for the Holidays and spike it (don’t judge, lol).
Stacey, You know I will only judge if I can’t have a spiked one with you! :)
So beautiful…
