And unlike store-bought candies, these are all-natural with no refined sugars or preservatives.

For this recipe, you will need some sort of candy mold. I used this one from Amazon.com, Freshware 30-Cavity Silicone Chocolate, Jelly and Candy Mold, but there are quite a few others out there to choose from.

For the inner filling, you’ll want to use raw honey that is naturally crystalized. Filtered honey would just run out all over the place, naturally crystalized honey for paleo candy recipeso you need the naturally thick kind. Here’s the brand I used with a link to it on Amazon.com: Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Raw Honey.

Most everything else is pretty basic. Round up some dark chocolate bars (72% cocoa to stay reasonably paleo) and pure peppermint extract and you’re in the candy-making business!

This is a great project for do-it-yourselfers who really want to get into the holiday spirit. If you have kids, I’m sure they’d love to get in on this one too!

Hope you enjoy this super-simple candy recipe. And don’t give it all away, you’ll want to save some for yourself!
