Chocolate-Dipped Medjool Dates

easy paleo recipe for chocolate dipped dates

This awesome treat is so simple to make, it’s hardly a recipe. But it’s so easy and yummy I just had to share…

I have a friend that lived in Europe for most of her childhood. I was talking to her about my love for Medjool dates the other day, and she just happened to mention a date treat she loved as a child.

She said it’s so simple. All you do is remove the pit from each date, and slide in a fresh walnut half in its place. Then dunk each date in a hot tub of warm, organic chocolate. Hello! I immediately knew this would end up on my list of treats.

And with the holidays coming up, these chocolate-dipped dates make a unique and fancy treat to serve your friends and family.

I topped mine with shredded coconut and nut sprinkles, because I’m a sprinkles kinda girl. But feel free to leave them well enough alone if you prefer.

They take all of 10 minutes to make. Pop them in the fridge until the chocolate gets nice and firm, and you’re ready to serve. [av_sidebar widget_area=’Lockerdome’ av_uid=’av-2rrhiz’]

They are sinfully good, and a nice, easy, two-bite treat! That works for me!

Try them and let me know what you think!
