Sassy Southwest Paleo Sliders

Want to sink your chops into a juicy, hot-off-the-grill slider with a little extra kick?

The secret’s in the sauce baby.

chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Just a small can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce will do the trick. Bag and freeze the remainder to use in another recipe!

This super-easy chipotle condiment recipe takes just minutes to throw together in your blender.

Dribble it over your next paleo burger stack and you’ve got yourself the taste of a glowing Sonoran Desert sunset in every bite.

As you might guess, standard-issue mayo, ketchup and mustard are a big yawn here in Arizona.

This chipotle sauce is definitely different. There’s just enough spice in it to jangle an old cowboy’s spurs, yet it’s mild enough to make anyone with tenderfoot taste buds smile.

Just four ingredients plus a little salt or pepper are all you need for the sauce.

Grab a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, a paleo mayo (here’s my paleo mayo recipe) and a fresh lime, and you’re all set.

The grilled sliders are easy – just a pound of ground beef should give you 5-6 sliders.

And don’t forget the produce. I like stacking mine with tomato, red onion and sliced avocado on a bed of baby spinach, but choose whatever your like.

Hope you get a kick out of this simple chipotle slider recipe! Enjoy!
