Make A Paleo Iced Coffee Drink Fast With This Simple Trick!

Hey all you coffee lovers out there…check out this time-saving shortcut to make yourself an awesome iced coffee or latte at home fast!

When the mornings start to heat up here in Arizona, I love grabbing an iced latte on my way to work.

But instead of waiting in line and spending $$$ at Starbucks, I can make my own at home in about 30 seconds!

And what’s really cool about this one is it doesn’t get watered down like a regular latte – it actually gets stronger as the ice melts!

So here’s the trick…

First, you need to turn your coffee or espresso into ice cubes.

Just brew your coffee or expresso like normal, pour it into a couple of ice cube trays, and stick them in the freezer.

Then when you’re ready to make your iced coffee drink, toss a handful of the frozen coffee cubes into your coffee mug and fill it up with a mix of almond milk and coconut milk.

Add a little maple syrup to sweeten if you want, and stir.

Then just let it sit for a few minutes while you finish getting ready for the day. [av_sidebar widget_area=’Lockerdome’ av_uid=’av-iowd1v’]

When those coffee-filled ice cubes start to melt, give it another stir and you’re good to go. (If you’re in a hurry, you can speed up the process by heating the milk a little bit before you add it.)

Use whatever milk you like…I keep mine paleo and non-dairy with one cup of almond milk and about a 1/2 cup of coconut milk. The coconut milk makes it a bit more creamy.

Give this easy paleo iced coffee drink shortcut a try!

It’s the perfect way to get your caffeine fix on a warm summer morning, or when you need a little afternoon boost on a hot day!

Quick, simple, and delicious…gotta love it…cheers!

  1. SO happy that I just found your fb page! I am now starving…everything looks so delicious. I will have to try to freeze my coffee-cocoa shakes in ice cube trays, always forget about trying it. Every morning for my drive to work and before breakfast, I make my morning shake with unsweetened almond milk, honey or stevia, some plant protein powder, dried-coffee crystals, unsweetened cocoa and sometimes a tsp of raspberry flavored greens powder mix with it. I love it and the coffee wakes me up.

  9. I have a question. Do you use canned coconut milk or the Silk coconut milk? Is there a difference in the two?

    1. They make an almond milk coconut blend that is sugar free

    2. Canned almond & coconut milk?

    3. We do go through tons of canned coconut milk at least one full can

  10. I’m very new to paleo so forgive the dumb question, but when you all refer to coconut milk, do you mean the canned kind? Or the ones like So Delicious? Thanks!

    1. Morgan, You could really use either for this coffee drink. It will be lighter with the So Delicious.
