Here’s a sweet little gift idea for the holidays…create your own brand of delicious homemade candy made with all paleo-approved ingredients!

This very simple candy recipe is an easy way to give a little something to your friends and family that comes with your own personal touch.

And you can be sure those lucky recipients will love your gift even more when they bite into these little dark chocolate treats filled with creamy honey mixed with a splash of peppermint.

And unlike store-bought candies, these are all-natural with no refined sugars or preservatives.

For the inner filling, you’ll want to use raw honey that is naturally crystalized. Filtered honey would just run out all over the place, naturally crystalized honey for paleo candy recipeso you need the naturally thick kind. Here’s the brand I used with a link to it on Amazon.com: Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Raw Honey.

Most everything else is pretty basic. Round up some dark chocolate bars (72% cocoa to stay reasonably paleo) and pure peppermint extract and you’re in the candy-making business!

This is a great project for do-it-yourselfers who really want to get into the holiday spirit. If you have kids, I’m sure they’d love to get in on this one too!

Hope you enjoy this super-simple candy recipe. And don’t give it all away, you’ll want to save some for yourself!
